Yes — free of charge any time before it ships. We process orders within 1–2 business days, so contact us within 12 hours of ordering for the best chance. After it ships, the standard 30-day return policy applies.

Flat $15 USD anywhere we deliver, and free on orders of $150 or more.

Which countries do you ship to?

The United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, India, Singapore, and Malaysia. Every parcel ships tracked from our Canadian workshop.

How long will my order take?

Processing takes 1–2 business days. US and Canadian deliveries typically arrive in 3–5 business days after shipping; everywhere else, 7–14 business days.

Will I pay customs duties on an international order?

Possibly — import duties and taxes are set and collected by your country and are the recipient’s responsibility. US and Canadian orders don’t usually see extra charges.

What leather do you use?

Full-grain leather only — buffalo for our small goods (portfolios, pouches, cases) and cowhide for our bags, all with solid brass hardware. Full-grain is the top layer of the hide with the grain intact: the strongest cut, and the only one that develops a true patina.

What is patina, and why do you keep talking about it?

Patina is the darkening and sheen full-grain leather develops from handling, sunlight, and time. It can’t be faked or rushed, and it makes your piece unmistakably yours. Corrected or "genuine" leather never gets it — it just wears out.

Why does my piece look slightly different from the photos?

Accepted Answer

Because it is different — every hide has its own grain, and our hand-distressed, antique, and hair-on cowhide pieces are finished individually. Tone variation is the signature of the process, not a defect.

My new piece has a strong leather smell. Is that normal?

Accepted Answer

That’s vegetable-tanned full-grain leather doing exactly what it should. The scent mellows within a few weeks of use.

Is the leather ethically sourced?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our hides are by-products of the food industry, and our small-batch workshop production means nothing is made that isn’t meant to last decades.

What is your return policy?

Thirty days from delivery for unused pieces in their original packaging, refunded to your original payment method. Change-of-mind return postage is on you; anything defective or shipped wrong is entirely on us.

What does The Generations Guarantee cover?

Our lifetime craftsmanship warranty: stitching, hardware (zippers, snaps, buckles, chains), structural construction, and leather defects, for the product’s life with the original owner. It doesn’t cover normal wear, patina, misuse, or water damage. No registration needed — your order number is your proof.

How do I make a warranty claim?

Email photos of the issue and your order number to legacy@adamleather.com. We repair when we can, replace when we can’t, and issue store credit if the piece has been discontinued.
