Terms of Service

The agreement between you and us when you use adamleather.com or buy one of our pieces — written to be read, not to hide things.

Effective date: July 17, 2026 · “We” is Adam Leatherworks, a brand of Hijaz Ventures Inc., Toronto, Ontario, Canada. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Handmade goods, honestly described

Every piece is cut, stitched, and finished by hand from full-grain leather. That means natural grain variation, tone differences between hides, and dimensions that can vary by up to a quarter inch — especially on hand-distressed, antique, and hair-on cowhide pieces, where no two are alike. Product photos are representative, not clones. Leather also darkens and develops patina with use; that’s the material working as intended, and our Care Guide explains how to help it age well.

Orders, pricing & payment

  • All prices are in US dollars. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
  • An order is accepted when we email your confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order — for example, a suspected fraudulent one, or an obvious pricing error — and if we cancel, you receive a full and immediate refund.
  • You can change or cancel an order free of charge until it ships; contact us within 12 hours of ordering for the best chance.
  • International orders may attract import duties and taxes, which are the recipient’s responsibility.

Shipping, returns & warranty

Our Shipping & Returns policy (30-day returns, free shipping over $150) and The Generations Guarantee (our lifetime craftsmanship warranty) are part of these terms. Where these terms and those pages differ, the dedicated policy pages win — they’re the source of truth.

Using the site

The site’s content — product photography, copy, the Adam Leatherworks name and brand, and The Generations Guarantee mark — belongs to us. Personal, non-commercial use is welcome; scraping, republishing, or passing our work off as yours isn’t. Don’t use the site to do anything unlawful, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access systems that aren’t meant for you.

Disclaimers & liability

The website itself is provided “as is” — we work to keep it accurate and available but can’t promise perfection. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to the site or an order is limited to the amount you paid for the order in question, and neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential losses.

What this never limits:your statutory consumer rights, anything that can’t lawfully be excluded, and the promises we volunteer — including The Generations Guarantee and our returns policy. Consumer protection law in your province or country applies in full.

Governing law & changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada, with disputes handled by the courts of Toronto, Ontario — except where your local consumer law gives you the right to something better, in which case you keep it.

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page, with its effective date, is the one in force. Changes never apply retroactively to an order you’ve already placed.
